Automate your docs with the Content Writer

Copy page

Turn resolved support tickets and product changes into drafted documentation — a developer-docs PR or a customer Help Center article — with a human approving every change.

Overview

The Content Writer is a background agent that turns the work your team already does — resolving support tickets, merging product changes, answering questions in Slack — into drafted documentation, routed to the right surface: a developer-docs pull request or a draft Help Center article.

Your Content Writer comes with three sub-agents on its Visual Builder canvas — referenced by name throughout these guides:

  • Router Agent — decides whether each draft becomes a docs PR or a Help Center article
  • KB Article Agent — writes the Help Center articles (Zendesk)
  • Page Drafter — writes the Notion drafts

What you get

  • Capture novel resolutions from support — when a rep solves something that isn't in your docs yet, it becomes a drafted update instead of disappearing when the ticket closes.
  • Keep docs in sync with the product — code changes and releases become drafted doc updates, so docs stop trailing the product.
  • Lift your AI-channel visibility — more accurate, more complete content is what LLMs and AI search cite back to your users.

How it ships

The Content Writer is part of Inkeep Enterprise — your agent is provisioned for you, already grounded in your knowledge base. Schedule a demo to get access.

Note
Note

The Inkeep team provisions your agent and helps you complete the initial integration setup — GitHub Work App, Zendesk service account, and webhook triggers — in the Content Writer enterprise setup guide. These guides cover how you customize and operate it from there.

These guides cover what you configure on top of the delivered agent:
